I have a love and nostalgia for games that originally drew me to programming, and a deep desire to understand the work done in the shadows that makes games possible. This combination is what pulled me toward engine, tools and gameplay systems development; building the infrastructure and pipelines that help developers and designers do their best work and make games feel great.

Coming from web development and running my own online retail business, I bring a perspective that isn't typical for a software engineer. I work closely with the end user to deliver a software that is efficient and enjoyable to use. I've been writing object-oriented code for nearly a decade with Python as my strongest language, and I've been expanding my expertise into Rust, C#, and C++ through Unity, Unreal, and proprietary game engine and tools development.
